Brian Schurton
Windsurfing & Kiteboarding
Brian is a native of the Jamaica, the West Indies. He has been a professional windsurf instructor since 1981. He has worked at the premier resorts in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Florida and now Hood River. He holds a US National Champion title, and typically places in the top 3 on any given race day.
Brian began teaching kiteboarding in 1998. He is a certified Level I PASA Instructor and works full time in the winter months in Jamaica teaching students from all over the world.

Kieran Devanney
Windsurfing
Kieran is a native of the Gorge and the Florida Keys. He has been windsurfing for 15 years and teaching for 7. Kieran is a national level windsurfer holding several junior titles and is a top contender in all of the local Gorge Series races. He has the experience and skills to teach beginning through advanced tricks.

Kellen Ferguson
Kiteboarding
A newcomer to the Gorge, Kellen is far from new to kiteboarding. When Kellen came to us from Maui, we thought he had the talent, patience, and dedication to teach kiteboarding with the best of them. The smiles on his student's faces were the best confirmation we could have. Kellen is an IKO certified instructor.

Joe Still
Kiteboarding
Joe is northwest born and a 5 year veteran of kiteboarding in the Gorge. He brings 15 years of masters level and collegiate ski race coaching experience to the Brian’s team as well as being a professional seminar leader. Joe is a PASA Level II certified instructor and has travelled extensively to kiteboard destinations throughout the US, Mexico and Jamaica.

Kayla Schurton
Windsurfing
Brian's daughter Kayla was born to teach and born to sail.
She has been a windsurfer since she was 11 is the lead instructor for beginning windsurfing at the school. In the winter she competes in freestyle skiing at the high school level.

Max Williams
Kiteboarding
Max is one of the best kiteboard instructors in the Gorge. He is the team member with the most advanced riding skills and teaches clients of every ability level. Max has been kiteboarding since he was 15. He is IKO certified and a team rider.

Stevie Perrone
Kiteboarding
Stevie has been involved in kiteboarding since 1999. He is PASA and IKO certified and has taught in South Padre Island, Maui, and the Gorge. Stevie teaches beginning through advanced kiteboarding as well as advanced tricks.
