Why choose Brian’s?
1. The Goal
We have one goal in your windsurf and kiteboard lessons: to get you up and riding safely as soon as possible.
2. Customized Lesson Plans
Every lesson starts with an interview of you, your goals and your experience. We use a time tested learning progression and apply it to your specific needs.
3. An Emphasis on Safety
Wind water sports are fun. We want to keep them that way. Our lessons are designed to emphasize the safety aspects of the sport.
4. Experience
Our team has over 30 years of combined experience in teaching kiteboarding and windsurfing. We teach hundreds of clients every year. We know how to do this.
5. Access
We operate out of the “Event Site” on the Hood River Sandbar. We have a smooth water area for teaching windsurfing. We offer jetski assisted lessons for kiteboarding and if needed, we can transport you from the Hood River Sandbar to another area upwind where there is wide open access and standable.
6. The Gear
We use brand new 2011 gear in our lessons. The latest and the best. We also have a relationship with the premier windsurf & kite gear retailer in the gorge if you decide to make a purchase.

An International Experience
Brian's is an international school.
Our summer location is Hood River Oregon.
The winter season is in Jamaica, The West Indies.
